Process Directions
1. Give students a paper copy of their textbook pages.
2. Explain the "deleting process" by telling students to cross out details and highlight main ideas and key concepts.
3. Show students one paragraph of a completed "deleting" sample as a guide.
4. Allow students to read through the rest of the pages, "deleting" information as they read.
