1. Give students categories sheet. 2. Tell students what the categories will be. 3. Ask students to fill in the columns with words that could fit in those certain categories. |
Example
Categories might include items around the room of different colors, like "Red items, Black items, Yellow items, Green items, and Blue items." In those categories, students would put objects like "my binder, my pencil, the pencil sharpener, the poster, etc."
