Basics

1. Label the two big circles for the students. 2. Explain that they should list the elements in common in the inner figure, and list the elements which are specific to one of the big circles on the left or on the right. 3. Allow students to work on their venn diagrams. 4. Collect the diagrams when they are completed. Example
The teacher could ask students to compare and contrast pioneer days and today by filling out a venn diagram like the one shown above. |
