Strategy: T-Chart
Process Directions
1. During or after instruction, pass out one T-Charts to each student. 2. Guide students in filling out information on the T-Chart. 3. Collect charts from students. |
Example
During a lesson on human-environment interaction, while focusing on the land aspect of the environment, divide the T-Chart in sections labeled "Humans POSITIVELY affect land" and "Humans NEGATIVELY affect land." During instruction, ask students to jot down notes about ways in which humans positively and negatively impact their environment.
